تحولت الأسطورة الخيالية «رابونزل» إلى واقع ملموس وموثق رسمياً في موسوعة «غينيس» للأرقام القياسية، بعدما استطاعت الهندية رينو دهاريال انتزاع لقب أطول شعر لامرأة على قيد الحياة، متوجة سنوات طويلة من العناية المبتكرة والالتزام الخالي من المستحضرات الصناعية.
توقفت دهاريال، التي تنتمي لولاية أوتاراخاند شمالي الهند، عن قص شعرها نهائياً منذ عام 2015. وفي قياس رسمي جرى بمدينة هالدواني، سجلت لجنة موسوعة غينيس طول شعرها عند 271.5 سنتيمتر (8 أقدام و10 بوصات)، لتتربع على العرش العالمي بفارق تجاوز 14 سنتيمتراً عن الرقم القياسي السابق المنسوب لامرأة أوكرانية.
وكشفت دهاريال أن السر وراء هذا النمو الخرافي يكمن في الابتعاد التام عن المستحضرات الكيميائية، والاعتماد الكلي على وصفات العناية المنزلية المستمدة من طب «الأيورفيدا» الهندي التقليدي، إلى جانب روتين يومي معقد:
- الوصفات الطبيعية: استخدام زيوت وخلطات منزلية نقية تعزز قوة الجذور وتمنع تقصف أطراف الشعر.
- حماية الضفائر: ربط الشعر بضفائر هندسية محكمة لرفعه عن الأرض وحمايته من التآكل والاحتكاك أثناء الحركة.

The fairy tale legend of “Rapunzel” has turned into a tangible reality officially documented in the “Guinness” World Records, after Indian Renu Dhariyal managed to snatch the title of the longest hair of a living woman, crowning years of innovative care and a commitment free from synthetic products.
Dhariyal, who hails from the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand, has not cut her hair at all since 2015. In an official measurement conducted in the city of Haldwani, the Guinness World Records committee recorded her hair length at 271.5 centimeters (8 feet and 10 inches), placing her on the global throne with a margin exceeding 14 centimeters over the previous record attributed to a Ukrainian woman.
Dhariyal revealed that the secret behind this extraordinary growth lies in completely avoiding chemical products and fully relying on homemade care recipes derived from traditional Indian “Ayurveda,” along with a complex daily routine:
- Natural recipes: Using pure oils and homemade mixtures that enhance root strength and prevent hair split ends.
- Protecting the braids: Tying the hair in tight geometric braids to lift it off the ground and protect it from wear and friction during movement.
- Exhausting washing rituals: Dedicating entire hours continuously for washing and carefully detangling.
