أعلنت مجموعة تضم نحو 200 مقاتل من قوات الدعم السريع انشقاقها عن صفوف القوات، ووصولها إلى مدينة أم درمان، معلنة الانضمام إلى القوات المسلحة السودانية بكامل تسليحها، وفق ما أوردته وكالة السودان للأنباء (سونا).
وقالت الوكالة إن المجموعة تضم عدداً من القيادات الميدانية، يتقدمها أبوبكر حمودة دحلوب، الذي وصفته بأنه قائد شعبة استخبارات المهام الخاصة التابعة للدعم السريع في ولاية شمال كردفان، في مناطق حمرة الشيخ والمثلث، وعضو المكتب التنفيذي.
وبحسب الرواية التي نقلتها «سونا»، أعلنت المجموعة استعدادها للمشاركة في العمليات العسكرية إلى جانب القوات المسلحة السودانية والقوات المشتركة والقوات المساندة الأخرى، بهدف استعادة المناطق التي لا تزال تحت سيطرة قوات الدعم السريع.
قائد المجموعة: أدركنا خطأ الانضمام إلى الدعم السريع
ونقلت وكالة السودان للأنباء عن قائد المجموعة قوله إن المنشقين “أدركوا خطأهم” بعد الانخراط في صفوف الدعم السريع، مشيراً إلى أنهم قرروا الانحياز إلى ما وصفه بـ”الصف الوطني” والمشاركة في القتال ضد القوات التي تصفها السلطات السودانية بالمتمردة.
وأضاف، وفق «سونا»، أن المجموعة تعتزم المساهمة في كشف ما وصفه بمشروع الدعم السريع المدعوم من جهات خارجية، إلى جانب المشاركة ميدانياً في القتال ضدها.
كما أشاد القائد بقيادات قال إنها سبقته في الانضمام إلى القوات المسلحة، من بينهم النور قبة والسافنا وموسى خمسين، معتبراً أن انضمام هذه العناصر يمثل جزءاً من التحولات داخل صفوف الدعم السريع.
إشادة بدور الجيش والأمن والقوات المشتركة
وفي حديثه عن وصول المجموعة إلى العاصمة، أشاد قائدها، بحسب «سونا»، بالجهود التي بذلتها قيادات في القوات المسلحة السودانية وجهاز الأمن والمخابرات العامة والقوات المشتركة ومجلس الصحوة الثوري، والتي قال إنها ساعدت في وصول المنشقين إلى الخرطوم.
ودعا في ختام تصريحاته العناصر والقيادات التي لا تزال ضمن صفوف الدعم السريع إلى مغادرة القوات والانضمام إلى ما وصفه بـ”المشروع الوطني السوداني”.
ويأتي الإعلان عن هذه المجموعة الجديدة من المنشقين في ظل استمرار الحرب السودانية بين القوات المسلحة السودانية وقوات الدعم السريع، والتي اندلعت في أبريل 2023، وأدت إلى أزمة إنسانية واسعة ونزوح ملايين المدنيين، فضلاً عن استمرار المعارك في عدة مناطق من البلاد.
A group of about 200 fighters from the Rapid Support Forces announced their defection from the ranks of the forces and their arrival in the city of Omdurman, declaring their joining of the Sudanese Armed Forces with full armament, according to the Sudan News Agency (SUNA).
The agency reported that the group includes several field leaders, led by Abubakr Hamouda Dahloob, whom it described as the head of the Special Operations Intelligence Division of the Rapid Support Forces in North Kordofan, in the areas of Hamrat al-Sheikh and the Triangle, and a member of the executive office.
According to the account relayed by “SUNA,” the group announced its readiness to participate in military operations alongside the Sudanese Armed Forces, the joint forces, and other supporting forces, with the aim of regaining areas still under the control of the Rapid Support Forces.
Leader of the group: We realized the mistake of joining the Rapid Support Forces
The Sudan News Agency quoted the leader of the group as saying that the defectors “realized their mistake” after joining the Rapid Support Forces, indicating that they decided to align with what he described as the “national front” and participate in the fight against the forces that the Sudanese authorities label as rebellious.
He added, according to “SUNA,” that the group intends to contribute to exposing what he described as the Rapid Support Forces project backed by external parties, in addition to participating on the ground in the fight against them.
The leader also praised leaders he said had preceded him in joining the armed forces, including Al-Noor Quba, Al-Safna, and Musa Khamsin, considering that the joining of these elements represents part of the transformations within the ranks of the Rapid Support Forces.
Praise for the role of the army, security, and joint forces
In his remarks about the group’s arrival in the capital, its leader, according to “SUNA,” praised the efforts made by leaders in the Sudanese Armed Forces, the General Intelligence and Security Service, the joint forces, and the Revolutionary Awakening Council, which he said helped in the arrival of the defectors to Khartoum.
He called at the end of his statements for the elements and leaders still within the ranks of the Rapid Support Forces to leave the forces and join what he described as the “Sudanese national project.”
This announcement of the new group of defectors comes amid the ongoing Sudanese war between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces, which erupted in April 2023, leading to a widespread humanitarian crisis and the displacement of millions of civilians, in addition to the continued battles in several regions of the country.
