أكد عضو مجلس إدارة الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم مصطفى أبو زهرة أن قائد المنتخب محمد صلاح سيواصل اللعب الدولي لعدة سنوات قادمة، مستبعداً اعتزاله عقب بطولة كأس العالم 2026، المقامة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا والمكسيك، في ظل تقدمه في العمر.
صلاح مستمر حتى مونديال 2030
وقال أبو زهرة في تصريحات عبر قناة «صدى البلد» المصرية: «محمد صلاح لن يعتزل بعد كأس العالم 2026، وسيكون كابتن منتخب مصر في كأس العالم 2030، وحسام حسن المدير الفني».

ويقدم منتخب مصر، بقيادة محمد صلاح، البالغ من العمر 34 عاماً، مستوى استثنائياً في مونديال 2026، إذ تجاوز دور المجموعات للمرة الأولى في تاريخ مشاركاته في البطولة، بعد احتلاله وصافة المجموعة السابعة برصيد خمس نقاط، ثم واصل كتابة التاريخ بتجاوز أستراليا في دور الـ32.
ويخوض منتخب مصر اختباراً صعباً أمام الأرجنتين الثلاثاء القادم، في تمام الساعة السابعة مساءً بتوقيت مكة المكرمة والقاهرة، على ملعب «مرسيدس بنز» بمدينة أتلانتا الأمريكية، ضمن منافسات دور الـ16.

Abu Zahra stated in remarks via the Egyptian channel “Sada El Balad”: “Mohamed Salah will not retire after the 2026 World Cup, and he will be the captain of the Egyptian national team in the 2030 World Cup, along with coach Hossam Hassan.”

The Egyptian national team, led by 34-year-old Mohamed Salah, is delivering an exceptional performance in the 2026 World Cup, having advanced past the group stage for the first time in its history in the tournament, finishing second in Group G with five points, and then continued to make history by defeating Australia in the Round of 32.
The Egyptian national team faces a tough test against Argentina next Tuesday at 7 PM Mecca and Cairo time, at the “Mercedes-Benz” stadium in Atlanta, USA, as part of the Round of 16 competitions.
