اتهمت وزيرة الخارجية اليمنية أفراح الزوبة اليوم (الإثنين) مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية بالسعي إلى محاكاة النموذج الإيراني في مضيق هرمز، لفرض السيطرة على حركة الملاحة الدولية في مضيق باب المندب.
وقالت الزوبة للصحفيين إن المليشيا استمدت جرأتها من رد فعل دولي وصفته بأنه يفتقر إلى الجدية الكافية إزاء الهجمات التي استهدفت الملاحة التجارية على مدى السنوات الماضية.
وأكدت الزوبة أن الهدف الحوثي من تسيير الرحلات المباشرة بين صنعاء وإيران غير إنساني، موضحة أن الهدف سد نقص المال والسلاح.
وأفصحت وزيرة الخارجية اليمنية عن استعدادات أمنية جارية لحماية صادرات النفط اليمنية في ظل المخاوف من استهدافها أو تعطيلها، مبينة أن خطوط المواجهة بين قوات الجيش اليمني والحوثيين تشهد تبادلاً للنار ما يعكس استمرار التوتر الميداني رغم الجهود الدبلوماسية الرامية إلى خفض التصعيد.
ونفت الزوبة وجود أي محادثات مباشرة مع الحوثيين، مؤكدة وجود دور عماني للتوسط بين الطرفين، والحكومة تسعى إلى حل سلمي. ولوحت وزيرة الخارجية اليمنية بالعودة للحرب إذا واصل الحوثيون الضغط والتصعيد.
من جهة أخرى، ضبطت الأجهزة الأمنية بمحافظة مأرب شحنتين من المواد المخدرة كانتا في طريقهما إلى مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية في صنعاء.
ونقل موقع وزارة الدفاع اليمنية «سبتمبر نت» عن مصدر أمني بشرطة محافظة مأرب قوله إن إحدى النقاط التابعة لقوات الأمن الخاصة ضبطت 104 آلاف حبة من مادة البريجابالين المخدرة، فيما تمكنت نقطة أخرى من ضبط أكثر من 1900 حبة من نوع كبتاغون وكيلو غرام من مادة الحشيش، كانت جميعها في طريقها إلى المليشيا الحوثية في صنعاء.
وأوضح المصدر أنه تمت إحالة المضبوطات والمتهمين إلى الجهات المختصة لاستكمال الإجراءات القانونية، مبيناً أن الأجهزة الأمنية في مأرب ستظل بالمرصاد لعصابات التهريب التي دوماً ما تكون مرتبطة بالمليشيا الحوثية، التي تسعى لإغراق المجتمع بهذه السموم.
The Yemeni Foreign Minister Afrah Al-Zouba accused the Houthi terrorist militia today (Monday) of attempting to emulate the Iranian model in the Strait of Hormuz, to impose control over international shipping in the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
Al-Zouba told reporters that the militia has drawn its audacity from an international response that she described as lacking sufficient seriousness regarding the attacks targeting commercial shipping over the past years.
Al-Zouba confirmed that the Houthi aim of operating direct flights between Sana’a and Iran is inhumane, explaining that the goal is to fill a shortage of money and weapons.
The Yemeni Foreign Minister revealed ongoing security preparations to protect Yemeni oil exports amid fears of them being targeted or disrupted, indicating that the front lines between the Yemeni army forces and the Houthis are witnessing exchanges of fire, reflecting the continued field tension despite diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation.
Al-Zouba denied the existence of any direct talks with the Houthis, confirming the role of Oman in mediating between the two parties, and the government is seeking a peaceful solution. The Yemeni Foreign Minister hinted at a return to war if the Houthis continue to exert pressure and escalate.
On another note, security forces in Marib Governorate seized two shipments of narcotic substances that were on their way to the Houthi terrorist militia in Sana’a.
The Yemeni Ministry of Defense’s website “September Net” quoted a security source from the Marib police stating that one of the points belonging to the special security forces seized 104,000 pills of the narcotic pregabalin, while another point managed to seize more than 1,900 pills of Captagon and one kilogram of hashish, all of which were on their way to the Houthi militia in Sana’a.
The source explained that the seized items and the suspects have been referred to the relevant authorities to complete the legal procedures, indicating that the security forces in Marib will remain vigilant against smuggling gangs that are always linked to the Houthi militia, which seeks to flood society with these poisons.
