أكد وزير الدفاع اليمني الفريق ركن دكتور طاهر العقيلي، اليوم (الأحد)، أن القوات المسلحة، وبالتنسيق الوثيق مع تحالف دعم الشرعية والشركاء الدوليين، ماضية في التصدي للإرهاب الذي تمارسه مليشيا الحوثي، حتى تحييد خطرها وبسط سيطرة الدولة على كامل التراب الوطني.
وكتب العقيلي في منشور على حساب وزارة الدفاع في «إكس»: «على مدى أكثر من عقد، بل ومنذ نشأتها تؤكد المليشيا الحوثية أنها لا تعيش إلا على دورات وجولات العنف والإرهاب والقرصنة والفوضى، واستهداف مقدرات اليمن واستغلال موقعه الحيوي في تهديد الملاحة الدولية ودول الجوار خدمة لأجندة مموليها ومشغليها في طهران».
وقال وزير الدفاع اليمني: القوات المسلحة ومن منطلق مسؤوليتها ومهامها الدستورية وبالتنسيق الوثيق مع تحالف دعم الشرعية والشركاء الدوليين ستواجه وتتصدى لهذا الإرهاب المزعزع لأمن الملاحة والممرات المائية، حتى تحييد خطر وتهديد هذه الجماعة المارقة، الذي لن يتوقف ويعم الأمن والسلم الإقليمي والدولي، إلا ببترها كذراع خارجية، متوعداً ببسط سيطرة الدولة على التراب الوطني كافة.
ويأتي تصريح وزير الدفاع اليمني في الوقت الذي تصعّد مليشيا الحوثي من جرائمها ضد المدنيين والمختطفين في سجونها، وبحسب تقارير حقوقية فإن الشاب محمد أحمد الهدار توفي داخل السجن المركزي بمحافظة البيضاء الذي تسيطر عليه مليشيا الحوثي.
وذكر حقوقيون أن معاينة جثمان الضحية كشفت وجود آثار تعذيب قاسية وواضحة، شملت كسراً في الأنف وكسوراً متفرقة في الأضلاع، ما يرجح تعرضه لانتهاكات جسدية جسيمة أدّت إلى وفاته داخل السجن.
The Yemeni Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Dr. Taher Al-Aqeeli, confirmed today (Sunday) that the armed forces, in close coordination with the Coalition to Support Legitimacy and international partners, are moving forward to confront the terrorism practiced by the Houthi militia, until the threat is neutralized and the state’s control is established over the entire national territory.
Al-Aqeeli wrote in a post on the Ministry of Defense’s account on “X”: “For more than a decade, and since its inception, the Houthi militia has confirmed that it survives only on cycles and rounds of violence, terrorism, piracy, and chaos, targeting Yemen’s resources and exploiting its vital location to threaten international navigation and neighboring countries, serving the agenda of its financiers and operators in Tehran.”
The Yemeni Minister of Defense stated: “The armed forces, from the standpoint of their responsibility and constitutional duties, and in close coordination with the Coalition to Support Legitimacy and international partners, will confront and counter this terrorism that undermines the security of navigation and waterways, until the threat posed by this rogue group is neutralized, which will not stop and regional and international security and peace will not prevail, except by severing it as an external arm, vowing to establish the state’s control over all national territory.”
This statement from the Yemeni Minister of Defense comes at a time when the Houthi militia is escalating its crimes against civilians and detainees in its prisons. According to human rights reports, the young man Mohammed Ahmed Al-Hadar died inside the central prison in Al-Bayda province, which is controlled by the Houthi militia.
Human rights activists stated that the examination of the victim’s body revealed signs of severe and clear torture, including a broken nose and multiple fractures in the ribs, suggesting that he had been subjected to serious physical violations that led to his death inside the prison.
