كشفت هيئة المقاولين، ارتفاع عدد منشآت قطاع المقاولات في المملكة إلى نحو 365 ألف منشأة بنهاية عام 2025، مقارنة بـ281 ألف منشأة في العام السابق، محققة نمواً سنوياً بلغ 29.6%، وفقاً لتقريرها السنوي لعام 2025.
وأوضح التقرير، أن المنشآت المتناهية الصغر استحوذت على النسبة الأكبر من إجمالي منشآت القطاع بواقع 84.88%، تلتها المنشآت الصغيرة بنسبة 12.52%، فيما توزعت النسبة المتبقية بين المنشآت المتوسطة والكبيرة والعملاقة.
وتصدر نشاط تشييد المباني أنشطة قطاع المقاولات، مستحوذاً على 66.67% من إجمالي المنشآت، يليه نشاط التشييد المتخصص بنسبة 21.98%، ثم نشاط الهندسة المدنية بنسبة 5.69%، فيما توزعت بقية المنشآت على أنشطة خدمات المباني وتجميل المواقع، والأنشطة المعمارية والهندسية والاختبارات الفنية والتحليل.
وعلى مستوى التوزيع الجغرافي، استحوذت منطقة الرياض على 33.04% من إجمالي منشآت القطاع، تلتها منطقة مكة المكرمة بأكثر من 15%، ثم المنطقة الشرقية بنسبة 13.61%، والقصيم بنسبة 11.07%، فيما توزعت بقية المنشآت على بقية مناطق المملكة.
وبيّن التقرير، أن عدد العاملين في قطاع المقاولات بلغ 4.4 مليون عامل بنهاية عام 2025، تركزت النسبة الأكبر منهم في منطقة الرياض بواقع 45.25% من الإجمالي، تلتها المنطقة الشرقية بنسبة 24.63%، ثم منطقة مكة المكرمة بنسبة 12.60%، فيما توزع باقي العاملين على بقية مناطق المملكة.
The Contractors Authority revealed that the number of establishments in the construction sector in the Kingdom has risen to approximately 365,000 by the end of 2025, compared to 281,000 in the previous year, achieving an annual growth rate of 29.6%, according to its annual report for 2025.
The report indicated that micro establishments accounted for the largest share of the total sector establishments at 84.88%, followed by small establishments at 12.52%, while the remaining percentage was distributed among medium, large, and giant establishments.
The activity of building construction topped the activities of the construction sector, accounting for 66.67% of the total establishments, followed by specialized construction activities at 21.98%, and civil engineering activities at 5.69%, while the remaining establishments were distributed across building services, landscaping, architectural and engineering activities, technical testing, and analysis.
In terms of geographical distribution, the Riyadh region accounted for 33.04% of the total sector establishments, followed by the Makkah region with more than 15%, then the Eastern region at 13.61%, and Al-Qassim at 11.07%, while the remaining establishments were distributed across the other regions of the Kingdom.
The report showed that the number of workers in the construction sector reached 4.4 million by the end of 2025, with the largest percentage concentrated in the Riyadh region at 45.25% of the total, followed by the Eastern region at 24.63%, then the Makkah region at 12.60%, while the remaining workers were distributed across the other regions of the Kingdom.
