Doha: The Qatari Armed Forces announced today that they had repelled a missile attack targeting the State of Qatar.

According to the Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Ministry of Defence said it had responded to a missile attack.

In a separate statement carried by QNA, Qatar’s Ministry of Interior announced that the security threat level is high.

The ministry called on the public to remain at home, avoid going outdoors, and stay away from windows and open areas in order to maintain public safety.
