Cairo, Egypt: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Egyptian President His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during a fraternal visit to Egypt.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across various sectors, particularly in development-related fields, in support of mutual interests and the wellbeing of both nations.
Strengthening cooperation
The two leaders reviewed opportunities to enhance collaboration and reaffirmed their commitment to continued consultation on issues of common concern, particularly in light of shared regional challenges.
They emphasised the importance of maintaining close coordination to support stability and development in the region.
Regional developments discussed
Discussions also covered a range of regional and international developments, especially ongoing issues in the Middle East and their impact on regional and global security.
Both sides stressed the importance of promoting peace and stability as fundamental pillars for development and long-term prosperity.

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed was received by President El-Sisi.
The UAE President was accompanied by a delegation that included H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; along with a number of ministers and officials.
