Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates, Friday, Oct 23, 2026: The Nifty50 and the Sensex rose amid a decline in global stocks due to concerns over AI spending and a spike in oil prices.  As of 9:18 AM, the Sensex rose 339.42 points or 0.46 per cent to 73,588.81 and the Nifty50 was up 36.55 points or 0.16 per cent at 22,724.20.  Hindalco Industries, Adani Enterprises, and Tata Steel were the top losers in the Nifty50.  In the broader markets, the Nifty MidCap and the Nifty SmallCap fell 0.48 per cent and 1.03 per cent, respectively.  Sector-wise, Nifty Metal and Nifty Realty declined the most, while Nifty IT rose the most.

Adani Power, Atul, Bank of India, Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL), CG Power and Industrial Solutions, Coforge, Dr Reddys Laboratories, Geojit Financial Services, DCB Bank, Godrej Properties, Infosys, and Jindal Steel will release their Q2FY27 results.
