The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has kept the policy repo rate unchanged at 5.25%, while maintaining its neutral policy stance, signalling a balanced approach towards supporting growth and keeping inflation under control.

The decision was announced after the latest meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC). By leaving the repo rate unchanged, the central bank indicated that it will continue to closely monitor domestic inflation, global economic developments and financial market conditions before taking further policy action.
