في ثوانٍ معدودة، تحولت جولة هادئة لسيدة مسنة برفقة ابنها على دراجة نارية في شوارع مدينة مراكش إلى فاجعة هزت الرأي العام المغربي، بعدما تسبب طيش شاب لم يتجاوز الـ18 من عمره في تحويل جريمة سرقة خاطفة إلى سيناريو موت مروع.

كانت السيدة تتشبث بظهر ابنها أثناء سير الدراجة النارية، غير مدركة أن هناك من يترقب حقيبتها اليدوية. اقترب الشاب المراهق بدراجته وسار بجانبهما، قبل أن يباغتهما بجذبة سريعة وعنيفة للحقيبة.

لم تتحمل السيدة قوة المباغتة، فاختل توازنها وسقطت مباشرة من أعلى الدراجة لتهوي على أسفلت الطريق، وسط ذهول وصدمة ابنها الذي لم يستوعب ما حدث في تلك اللحظة خاطفة الأنفاس.

لكن سوء الحظ القاتل جعل سقوط الضحية يتزامن مع مرور سيارة كانت تسير بالقرب من موقع الحادثة، فلم يمتلك سائقها المسافة ولا الوقت الكافي للمناورة أو التوقف، لتدهس السيدة المسنة وتفارق الحياة في الحين قبل أن تصل إليها أي يد للإسعاف.

وفي مشهد صادم:

• فرّ السارق بحقيبة الضحية تاركاً خلفه جثة هامدة.
• واصل سائق السيارة طريقه وهرب أيضاً من الموقع، متجاهلاً تقديم العون للضحية أو انتظار السلطات.

واستنفرت ولاية أمن مراكش طواقمها الأمنية لكشف لغز المأساة، وتمكنت التحريات الميدانية في وقت قياسي من تحديد هوية المراهق المتسبب في الواقعة وإلقاء القبض عليه، مع حجز الدراجة النارية المستخدمة في الجريمة. وتم إخضاع المتهم لتدبير الحراسة النظرية تحت إشراف النيابة العامة المختصة لمواجهة تبعات أفعاله التي تحولت من سرقة بأسلوب الخطف إلى فاجعة مأساوية، بينما تكثف الأجهزة الأمنية تحرياتها لتحديد هوية سائق السيارة الهارب وإحضاره أمام العدالة.

In a matter of seconds, a quiet ride for an elderly woman accompanied by her son on a motorcycle through the streets of Marrakech turned into a tragedy that shook Moroccan public opinion, after the recklessness of a young man who had not yet turned 18 transformed a swift theft into a horrific death scenario.

The woman was clinging to her son’s back as the motorcycle was moving, unaware that someone was watching her handbag. The young teenager approached them on his bike and rode alongside them, before suddenly pulling the bag in a quick and violent tug.

The woman could not withstand the force of the surprise, losing her balance and falling directly from the top of the motorcycle to crash onto the asphalt, amidst the shock and disbelief of her son, who could not comprehend what had happened in that breathless moment.

However, the fatal misfortune caused the victim’s fall to coincide with the passing of a car that was driving near the scene of the incident, leaving its driver with neither the distance nor the time to maneuver or stop, crushing the elderly woman and causing her to die instantly before any help could reach her.

In a shocking scene:

• The thief fled with the victim’s bag, leaving behind a lifeless body.
• The driver of the car also continued on his way and escaped the scene, ignoring the need to assist the victim or wait for the authorities.

The Marrakech Security Directorate mobilized its security teams to uncover the mystery of the tragedy, and field investigations quickly managed to identify the teenager responsible for the incident and apprehend him, along with seizing the motorcycle used in the crime. The accused was placed under provisional detention under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor to face the consequences of his actions, which escalated from a theft by snatching to a tragic disaster, while security agencies intensified their investigations to identify the fleeing car driver and bring him to justice.
