أفصحت مصادر مطلعة أن إيفانكا ترمب ابنة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، كانت هدفاً لمحاولة اغتيال، من قبل القيادي في كتائب حزب الله العراقية محمد باقر السعدي الذي اعتقلته قوات أمريكية في تركيا أخيراً.

وكشفت المصادر أن السعدي قدّم تعهداً إلى الحرس الثوري الإيراني بقتل إيفانكا، وكان بحوزته مخطط لمنزلها في فلوريدا، بحسب ما أوردت صحيفة «نيويورك بوست».

وأفادت بأن القيادي العراقي كان يسعى لاستهداف عائلة ترمب رداً على مقتل قائد فيلق القدس قاسم سليماني بطائرة مسيّرة أمريكية قرب مطار بغداد قبل نحو 6 سنوات.

من جانبه، أفاد نائب الملحق العسكري السابق في السفارة العراقية بواشنطن انتفاض قنبر، بأنه بعد مقتل قاسم سليماني كان السعدي يخبر الناس حوله قائلاً: «يجب قتل إيفانكا وحرق منزل ترمب كما أحرق هو منزلنا». وقال: «سمعنا أنه كان لديه خريطة لمنزل إيفانكا في فلوريدا». كما أكد مصدر ثانٍ مخطط الساعدي لقتلها.

ونشر السعدي على حسابه في منصة إكس عام 2021، خريطة تُظهر المنطقة السكنية في فلوريدا التي يقع فيها منزل إيفانكا وزوجها جاريد كوشنر، الذي تبلغ قيمته 24 مليون دولار، مرفقة بتهديد باللغة العربية جاء فيه: «أقول للأمريكيين انظروا إلى هذه الصورة واعلموا ألا قصوركم ولا جهاز الخدمة السرية سيحميكم.. نحن الآن في مرحلة المراقبة والتحليل. قلت لكم إن انتقامنا مسألة وقت».

وحسب قنبر، فإن السعدي كان قريباً من سليماني ويعتبره بمثابة الأب، خصوصاً بعد وفاة والده أحمد كاظمي، وهو عميد إيراني، عام 2006. وأوضح الملحق العسكري أن السعدي نشأ في بغداد وتربى بشكل أساسي على يد والدته العراقية، لكنه أُرسل لاحقاً إلى طهران للتدريب لدى الحرس الثوري.

ولفت إلى أنه أسس فيما بعد شركة سفريات متخصصة في الرحلات الدينية، ما أتاح له السفر حول العالم للتواصل مع خلايا إرهابية.

واعتقل السعدي في تركيا يوم 15 مايو وتم تسليمه إلى الولايات المتحدة، حيث يواجه اتهامات بتنفيذ 18 هجوماً ومحاولات هجوم في أوروبا والولايات المتحدة، بحسب وزارة العدل. واتهمت وزارة العدل السعدي بالوقوف وراء هجمات على أهداف أمريكية ويهودية، منها إلقاء قنابل حارقة على بنك «نيويورك ميلون» في أمستردام بمارس الماضي، وطعن ضحيتين يهوديتين في لندن في أبريل، وإطلاق نار على مبنى القنصلية الأمريكية في تورونتو أيضاً في مارس.

وعند اعتقاله في تركيا، كان بحوزته جواز خدمة عراقي، وهو وثيقة سفر خاصة تُمنح لموظفي الحكومة، ولا يمكن الحصول عليها إلا بموافقة رئيس الوزراء العراقي، ما سمح له بالتنقل بسهولة وبفحوصات أمنية محدودة في المطارات العراقية واستخدام صالات كبار الشخصيات.

Informed sources revealed that Ivanka Trump, the daughter of U.S. President Donald Trump, was the target of an assassination attempt by Iraqi Hezbollah leader Mohammed Baqir al-Saadi, who was recently arrested by U.S. forces in Turkey.

Sources disclosed that al-Saadi had made a commitment to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to kill Ivanka and was in possession of a blueprint of her home in Florida, according to the New York Post.

It was reported that the Iraqi leader was seeking to target the Trump family in retaliation for the killing of Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani in a U.S. drone strike near Baghdad Airport about six years ago.

For his part, former deputy military attaché at the Iraqi embassy in Washington, Intifad Qanbar, stated that after the killing of Qassem Soleimani, al-Saadi was telling those around him: “Ivanka must be killed and Trump’s house must be burned just as he burned our house.” He added, “We heard he had a map of Ivanka’s house in Florida.” A second source also confirmed al-Saadi’s plot to kill her.

In 2021, al-Saadi posted on his account on the X platform a map showing the residential area in Florida where Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner’s $24 million home is located, accompanied by a threat in Arabic that read: “I say to the Americans, look at this picture and know that neither your mansions nor the Secret Service will protect you… We are now in the stage of surveillance and analysis. I told you that our revenge is a matter of time.”

According to Qanbar, al-Saadi was close to Soleimani and considered him like a father, especially after the death of his father, Ahmad Kazemi, an Iranian brigadier general, in 2006. The military attaché explained that al-Saadi grew up in Baghdad and was primarily raised by his Iraqi mother, but was later sent to Tehran for training with the Revolutionary Guard.

He pointed out that he later established a travel company specializing in religious trips, which allowed him to travel around the world to connect with terrorist cells.

Al-Saadi was arrested in Turkey on May 15 and was handed over to the United States, where he faces charges of carrying out 18 attacks and attempted attacks in Europe and the United States, according to the Department of Justice. The Department of Justice accused al-Saadi of being behind attacks on American and Jewish targets, including throwing incendiary bombs at the “New York Mellon” bank in Amsterdam last March, stabbing two Jewish victims in London in April, and shooting at the U.S. consulate building in Toronto also in March.

At the time of his arrest in Turkey, he was in possession of an Iraqi service passport, a special travel document granted to government employees, which can only be obtained with the approval of the Iraqi Prime Minister, allowing him to move easily with limited security checks at Iraqi airports and use VIP lounges.
