ويشهد الاجتماع توقيع مجموعة من الاتفاقيات ومذكرات التفاهم في قطاعات مختلفة، وتعقد الاجتماعات ضمن جدول أعمال زيارة ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان إلى فرنسا. وكشفت مصادر «العربية Business»، أن قيمة الصفقات التي ستوقع اليوم بين جهات وشركات فرنسية وسعودية تفوق 10 مليارات دولار. وستركز المناقشات خلال الاجتماع على الشراكات الصناعية والنقل والخدمات اللوجستية، إضافة إلى الذكاء الاصطناعي والبنية التحتية الرقمية وقطاعات أخرى.
توسيع مجالات التعاون
ويأتي الاجتماع امتدادًا للعلاقات الاقتصادية والاستثمارية المتنامية بين المملكة وفرنسا، ودعمًا للجهود المشتركة لتوسيع مجالات التعاون، وتعزيز الشراكات بين مجتمعي الأعمال في البلدين، وتحويل الفرص الواعدة إلى استثمارات ومشاريع نوعية تحقق المصالح المشتركة. وأكد الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون أن زيارة ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، إلى فرنسا تمثل خطوة مهمة لتعزيز السلام والاستقرار. وكتب الرئيس الفرنسي عبر حسابه على منصة «إكس»: «زيارة ولي العهد محمد بن سلمان إلى فرنسا تمثل خطوة مهمة أمام تحديات المنطقة، لطالما دعت فرنسا والسعودية دائماً إلى السلام والاستقرار، وستواصلان حوارهما في هذا الاتجاه».
