نفي الموسيقار أحمد أبو زهرة الجدل المتداول بشأن رفضه إقامة حفل تأبين لوالده الفنان الراحل عبد الرحمن أبو زهرة، مؤكداً أنه لم يصله أي تواصل رسمي من وزارة الثقافة لتنظيم تكريم أو تأبين لوالده.
حقيقة التواصل مع وزارة الثقافة
وأوضح أحمد أبو زهرة في منشور عبر حسابه على «فيسبوك» أن التواصل الوحيد الذي تلقاه كان من الدكتورة جيهان زكي قبل استقالتها من منصب وزيرة الثقافة، إذ أبدت رغبتها في عقد لقاء لبحث تكريم الفنان الراحل، إلا أن الاجتماع لم يعقد أو يطرح أي مشروع للتكريم حتى الآن.
سبب الاعتذار عن مهرجان المسرح
وأشار نجل الفنان الراحل إلى أنه تلقى أخيراً دعوة للمشاركة في ندوة عن والده ضمن فعاليات المهرجان القومي للمسرح، لكنه اعتذر عن الحضور بسبب وجوده خارج مصر، مؤكداً أن اعتذاره جاء لظروف السفر فقط.

ورحل عبد الرحمن أبو زهرة في 11 مايو الماضي بعد صراع مع المرض عن عمر ناهز 92 عاماً، بعد مسيرة فنية حافلة امتدت لعقود حيث قدم خلالها أعمالاً بارزة في المسرح والسينما والإذاعة والتلفزيون، تاركاً إرثاً فنياً كبيراً في تاريخ الفن المصري.

Ahmed Abu Zahra clarified in a post on his “Facebook” account that the only communication he received was from Dr. Jihan Zaki before her resignation from the position of Minister of Culture, as she expressed her desire to hold a meeting to discuss honoring the late artist. However, the meeting was not held, nor has any tribute project been proposed so far.
Reason for declining the theater festival
The son of the late artist indicated that he recently received an invitation to participate in a seminar about his father as part of the activities of the National Theater Festival, but he declined to attend due to being outside Egypt, confirming that his apology was solely due to travel circumstances.
