أدان الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم محمد البديوي بأشد العبارات اعتراف حكومة كولومبيا بسيادة قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على هضبة الجولان السورية المحتلة، مؤكدًا أن هذا الاعتراف مخالف لكل القوانين والمعاهدات الدولية التي أكدت أن هضبة الجولان أرض سورية عربية محتلة من قبل الاحتلال الإسرائيلي.
وأكد أن أي قرارات واعترافات لا تلامس الواقع والحقيقة المبنية على القرارات الدولية والأممية، هي اعترافات غير مقبولة وتؤثر في جهود السلام والأمن في المنطقة، مشددًا على أهمية أن تسحب حكومة كولومبيا هذا الاعتراف الباطل، وضرورة امتثال الاحتلال الإسرائيلي لقرارات الشرعية الدولية بالانسحاب من الأراضي العربية المحتلة كافة، بما فيها هضبة الجولان.
وجدد البديوي التأكيد لموقف دول مجلس التعاون الثابت والداعم للجمهورية العربية السورية الشقيقة، ووقوفها إلى جانبها في صون سيادتها واستقلالها ووحدة وسلامة أراضيها، بما فيها هضبة الجولان السورية المحتلة، ورفضها القاطع لأي إجراءات أو انتهاكات من شأنها المساس بسيادة سورية أو الانتقاص من وحدة أراضيها.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jasem Mohamed Al-Budaiwi, strongly condemned the Colombian government’s recognition of the Israeli occupation forces’ sovereignty over the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, emphasizing that this recognition contradicts all international laws and treaties that affirm that the Golan Heights is occupied Syrian Arab land by the Israeli occupation.
He affirmed that any decisions and recognitions that do not reflect the reality and truth based on international and UN resolutions are unacceptable recognitions that affect peace and security efforts in the region, stressing the importance of the Colombian government withdrawing this invalid recognition and the necessity for the Israeli occupation to comply with international legitimacy decisions to withdraw from all occupied Arab territories, including the Golan Heights.
Al-Budaiwi reiterated the steadfast position of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in support of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, standing by it in preserving its sovereignty, independence, and the unity and integrity of its territories, including the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, and their firm rejection of any actions or violations that would undermine Syria’s sovereignty or diminish the unity of its territories.
